Component Weight Reduction

As part of our cost reduction program, one area that is always on the minds of our customers is component weight reduction. We have success stories in this area of business as well. We were successful in taking an 80-pound casting and designing it into a 20 pound deep drawn housing with gear checking quality. We also succeeded in helping another customer reduce weight, while increasing the strength of the component. We strive to exceed all of our customers' expectations.
